What is Run It Back PT?

Physical
Therapy, Done Right.

Run It Back PT is a cash-pay, mobile physical therapy practice built for patients who would benefit from more one-on-one time with their physical therapist.

Traditional insurance-based clinics can be excellent places to work with a physical therapist, particularly if you need a higher quantity of visits. However, a limitation of these settings is that therapists often have to manage multiple patients at once, and patients are subject to the requirements of their insurance company. Run It Back PT is built on the understanding that some patients prefer to have more individual attention and more autonomy in their care.

With Run It Back, every session is 60 minutes, one-on-one, at your location. No commute to your visits, no waiting rooms, no wishing you had more time with your PT. We will chat about why you want to work with a physical therapist, perform a thorough evaluation, and start providing you with treatment from Day 1.

I Come to You
Your home, gym, or workplace. No commute, no waiting room, no clinic parking lot.
60 Min, Every Time
Full hour with your PT. Not a tech, not a shared session. You, me, your injury.
No Insurance Hassle
No pre-authorization, no visit limits, no surprise bills three months later. Transparent pricing, always.
Superbill Available
I provide a superbill after each visit. You may be able to submit it to your insurance for partial reimbursement — worth checking with your provider.
FSA/HSA Accepted · No Referral Required in Virginia
Virginia is a direct access state — you can book PT without seeing a doctor first. And yes, you can use your FSA or HSA funds.

  • You're training for a race and something has been nagging — or you want to get to the start line healthy and stay there.
  • You've had the same injury come back more than once and you're tired of treating the symptom without finding the cause.
  • You tried PT before and felt rushed, undertreated, or left without really understanding your plan.
  • You had surgery and finished your insurance-covered visits — but you're not where you want to be yet.
  • You're a student athlete or active adult who wants care that fits your schedule and takes your goals seriously.
The Process

Here's What to Expect.

01
Step One
Reach Out & Book
Send me an email with a little information on your injury or goals for physical therapy. I will answer any questions, and if you decide to book an appointment, we will schedule via email. I'll confirm your appointment, send some intake paperwork, and answer any questions before your first visit.
02
Step Two
I Come to You
I'll come to your home, gym, or workplace — wherever works best for you. All we need is a clear space roughly 10×10 feet. I will bring in a treatment table and get set up before we start chatting. Your first visit is a full 60-minute evaluation and treatment session. We don't wait to get started.
03
Step Three
Get Back to It
You'll leave your first visit with a clear picture of what's going on. We'll work together on a plan and schedule additional visits if we agree that's the right next step. The aim is always to get you back to what you love — and give you the tools to stay there.

If you don't see what you're looking for, just reach out.

When will you be accepting new patients?
+
I will be open full-time on July 20, 2026. However, if you have an injury or issue you would like to speak about before this, don't hesitate to reach out! I am accepting a limited number of early patients.
Where are you located?
+
I am fully mobile! I will come to you for your visit(s). This will often work best at your home, but if your workplace or gym allows, we can work there as well.
Do you take insurance?
+
I have chosen not to accept insurance. This allows us to have more direct one-on-one time and means you have more autonomy in your care.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
+
You do not! Virginia is a direct access state, which means you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist.
Can I use my FSA/HSA money?
+
Absolutely.
Do you only treat athletes?
+
No! I am passionate about helping people get back to what they love. Sometimes this means running or sports, sometimes walking, gardening, spending time with family, etc. As long as you are motivated to improve, I will be eager to work with you.
I had a surgery, can I still work with you?
+
Definitely. I have had years of experience working with post-operative patients. This can either be during the early stages of your recovery or later if you have finished up PT at another location.
What type of space do I need available for my visit?
+
We will need somewhere to sit and chat about what's going on, then a clear open space about 10'x10' (large enough for a treatment table) for me to assess your movement, strength, etc.
Is there a travel fee?
+
No travel fee within 20 minutes of Ginter Park. Beyond that, there's a small travel fee. I'll let you know upfront when you book an appointment.
